Benefits of ClassicStone™

Natural Paving USA’s calibrated hardscape products present homeowners with the ultimate in durability and beauty with:

  • Gauged to 1” thick
  • 15,000 PSI Compressive Strength (Av)
  • Great for concrete overlay
  • Easy and fast laying

Such credentials make natural stone the natural choice over concrete and irregular stone paving alternatives.

What's included in the ClassicStone circle kit:

Each kit weighs approximately 840 lbs.

Natural Paving's cleft natural sandstone has the beauty and hard-wearing qualities of real stone to add timeless appeal to any landscape. The colors and textures have formed naturally since time began which give each skillfully crafted piece its own wonderfully unique qualities. This hand split naturally riven paving circle feature kit creates an interesting focalpoint within a paved area or works equally well as a standalone feature

GOLDEN FOSSIL

Has shades of light buff, gray and occasional bronze. Some pieces of stone may show fossil imprints.

Color Variation

Highly Varied

This paving has a high amount of color and shading variation present within the range

Water Absorbency
Moderate Absorption

During tests, this paving absorbs less than 3.5% water when fully saturated. The lower the water absorption, the lower the risk of algae growth and staining. By comparison, concrete paving has an average water absorption of 6%

Flexural Strength
Good

During testing, this paving showed flexural strength of 20.7 Mpa. The flexural strength value shows how much bending stress a paving unit can be put under before it breaks and the higher the number, the stronger the paving. By comparison, concrete paving has an average flexural strangth of 5 Mpa.

Frost Resistance
Great

During a repeated test cycle of freezing to -40 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by thawing, this paving only lost 0.8 Mpa of flexural strength. This result demonstrates excellent paving resilience.

Slip Resistance
Low Risk

This paving has a slip resistance PTV rating of 57 when dry and 51 when wet. A pendulum is used to swing across the stone to determine friction. The rougher the surface, the more the pendulum slows and the higher the value.

HARVEST

Harvest has shades of warm brown, pink, gray and buff.

Color Variation

Highly Varied

This paving has a high amount of color and shading variation present within the range.

Water Absorbency
Low Absorption

During tests, this paving absorbs less than 2.6% water when fully saturated. The lower the water absorption, the lower the risk of algae growth and staining. By comparison, concrete paving has an average water absorption of 6%.

Flexural Strength
Good

During testing, this paving showed flexural strength of 14.6 to 17.1 Mpa. The flexural strength value shows how much bending stress a paving unit can be put under before it breaks and the higher the number, the stronger the paving. By comparison, concrete paving has an average flexural strength of 5 Mpa.

Frost Resistance
Great

During a repeated test cycle of freezing to -40 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by thawing, this paving only lost 4.2 Mpa of flexural strength. This result demonstrates excellent paving resilience.

Slip Resistance
Low Risk

This paving has a slip resistance PTV rating of 62 when dry and 56 when wet. A pendulum is used to swing across the stone to determine friction. The rougher the surface, the more the pendulum slows and the higher the value.

Flexural Strength
Good

During testing, this paving showed flexural strength of 24.8 Mpa. The flexural strength value shows how much bending stress a paving unit can be put under before it breaks and the higher the number, the stronger the paving. By comparison, concrete paving has an average flexural strangth of 5 Mpa.

Frost Resistance
Great

During a repeated test cycle of freezing to -40 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by thawing, this paving only lost 0.3 Map of flexural strength. This result demonstrates excellent paving resilience.

Slip Resistance
Low Risk

This paving has a slip resistance PTV rating of 52 when dry and 37 when wet. A pendulum is used to swing across the stone to determine friction. The rougher the surface, the more the pendulum slows and the higher the value.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping costs appear in your cart once you’ve answered the shipping prompts and entered your zip code—rates are subsidized for your savings. Ordering over 10 tons or pallets exceeding 1 ton? You’ll need a flatbed truck and a forklift or skid steer to unload (check weights below the quantity box on product pages). No equipment? No problem—rent a skid steer by the hour from your local hardware store. For orders under 10 tons and pallets below 1 ton, we ship via LTL, and the stones are offloaded for you with a pallet jack.

Returns? Due to their nature, stones are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged in transit.

FAQ's

1. Do you offer volume or contractor discounts?

Absolutely! Contractors, register here for your unique discount code and join our network for free leads and added benefits —call 1(800) 688-1796 to explore the perks. For high-volume orders (over 20 tons), request a custom quote with volume savings included.

2. Can I get a sample?

Yes! Email Support@stonesdirect.com with your desired product and shipping address. Samples are free, though shipping fees apply—we’ll credit that fee back if your order tops $2,500. Some samples are available online via the blue hyperlink below the “Add to Cart” button on product pages. Note: Samples are for color reference only.

3. Where do you ship, and how long does it take?

We ship across the United States and Canada. Delivery typically takes 1-8 weeks, depending on the season and other factors. Special orders may require extra time.

4. How much is shipping?

Our automated system compares hundreds of carriers to calculate shipping, which we subsidize for you. Answer a few quick questions in your cart to see the exact cost.

5. How do I figure out how much I need?

It’s simple! On the product page, input your face feet, square feet, or linear feet to calculate tonnage. For “per piece” items, use the average piece length to estimate how many you’ll need based on your measurements.

6. Can I pick up my stones?

Unless you’ve got a commercial vessel, quarry pickups aren’t an option—delivery is the way to go.

7. Do you provide installers?

We’ve got a network of contractors! Contact us to check if there’s one near you.
