Granite Mailbox Posts, Granite Lamp Posts and Stone Benches
A granite mailbox post is a solid granite column set at the end of a driveway to carry a mailbox and, if wanted, a house number. It takes the place of a wooden or steel post and does not rot, rust, lean or need repainting. The post is ordered by stone and by finished height; the mailbox and the bracket that holds it are separate items and are fitted once the post is set.
A granite lamp post is the same post used to carry a light. The fitting mounts on a flange at the top of the post and the wiring is planned before the post goes in, so tell us what light will be fitted when you order.
The posts come in three granites. Blue Mist is a gray granite with a blue cast, Caledonian is a warmer gray-brown, and Stanstead is a light, even gray. All three are dense stones that hold their color through sun, salt and winter.
A stone bench is sawn stone cut into a seat and its supports and supplied as a kit. The pieces are set in place on site, which keeps each one at a weight two people can handle and lets the bench sit level on ground that is not. The bench kits here are in blonde and red.

A granite mailbox post goes at the end of the driveway, where it is the first piece of stone anyone sees. A granite lamp post goes along a walkway, at a gate or beside an entrance, on its own or as a pair. A stone bench goes where people already stop: beside a patio, at the end of a path, or around a fire pit, matched to the stone of the pit and the paving.
