The Pavetuf® Satin Sealer is a breathable penetrating sealer giving protection to porous landscaping areas. Giving excellent water and oil repelling properties, it protects against the main causes of degradation and oxidation, helping to delay the ageing process.
Satin Sealer is a non-film forming impregnating treatment. This advanced water based formula allows you to seal your paving immediately after installation and allows efflorescence/salts and moisture to pass from the mortar bed through the paving. This sealer is an environmentally friendly product, completely waterborne, non toxic, solvent and silicone free.

Satin Sealer is a colour enhancing sealer which has all the water-repellent, oil-repellent and anti-soiling properties needed to protect porous substrates in a single application. Acts against the main causes of degradation, such as atmospheric and industrial pollution, greasy soiling, water seepage, acid rain, chewing gum and organic growth.
Satin Sealer is ideal for treating all porous materials: natural stone, synthetic stone, terracotta, architectural concrete, interlocking paving blocks, cement,etc.
This sealant can be applied as soon as the patio/path/driveway is complete.
Lesser quality and cheaper sealants on the market cannot be applied in this way, as most are not breathable and will lock in the efflorescence which needs to escape from the stone after installation. Trapped efflorescence will create marking and future problems. Most sealer manufacturers therefore recommend a 3 month waiting time from the stone being installed to application of their sealant. Within those 3 months, the stone is exposed to all of the elements and other potential risks i.e. leaves, birds, pets, red wine spillage.
The risk is minimized if you apply the Pavetuf® sealant immediately after the patio is completed, so the potential for problems is minimized. As the Pavetuf® product penetrates deeply into the stone it starts to work immediately and provides protection for up to 8 years, unlike other sealants that only guarantee 12 months protection.
