Porcelain tiles used for driveways should typically be at least 20 mm (about 3/4 inch) thick to withstand the weight of vehicles. It is recommended to have 1 1/4" paver for driveways as a general rule though. Thinner tiles below 3/4 inch are not recommended, as they may crack or break under heavy loads. Always ensure the tiles are specifically rated for outdoor and vehicular use.
